Burslem, who grew up on the North Shore, is from a family of creative artists. Although she has no formal art training, she does not claim to be self-taught. “Inspiration is everywhere and I’ve been soaking it up all my life. However my art comes out, I owe it to that.”

The Framing of Each Artwork

Each piece comes custom framed using only the finest No. 1 grade premium pine. Hand built with precision craftsmanship by Adam Laudun, these deep-set frames give gallery appeal to every work of art. The frames come in solid black with black paper backing and a heavyweight sawtooth hanger, immediately ready to hang on your wall.

The frames on the skateboard series have a metallic glaze over the black, as well as 4 skateboard bearings recessed into the left and right sides, 2 on each side.

Any piece pictured that is not yet framed (excluding “Brick Wall” & cutouts) will have the solid black frames, complete with paper backing and hanger, upon showing or sale. Price of frame is included in the list price.
